Fork I brake fatigue test for hub brake/disc brake
The fork is clamped in a fixture representing the front tube with a conventional fork assembly, and the axis of the fork riser is kept vertical. A shaft is mounted on the fork and a pivot connected, straight load bearing device is mounted on the shaft as shown in the figure. A force arm of length L is formed (see Table 10) with suitable mounting points for the braking device.
In the wheel plane, the end of the force arm is applied backwards for 60ON repetitive, horizontally oriented dynamic force test cycles. The maximum test frequency is described in ISO 4210 - 3: 2014, 4.5.
